About Meadow
Meadow began with people we care about.
Our parents are restaurateurs. Our friends run retail businesses. We've seen firsthand the time, energy, and love they and their teams pour into every location. We started Meadow to build them an AI co-manager that works alongside them, helping them stay ahead, build stronger businesses, and make each day a little easier.
Our story
It started with six seats.
Our CEO Max's mom grew a tiny, hole in the wall, six-seat restaurant into a four-location brand with 80 seats at each. Helping out along the way, Max saw firsthand the care, hard work, and daily challenges behind that growth. Over dinners and drinks, he heard familiar stories from friends running a restaurant chain with over 50 locations, retail chains with over 20 stores, and a seven-location nail salon brand. These weren't abstract business problems. They were the everyday realities of the people closest to him.
Built on enterprise experience
A different scale. A shared purpose.
Our COO, Abbas, led AI and machine learning teams at Nordstrom, building technology for high-end retail operations at scale. He brought that enterprise experience to Meadow, complementing Max's firsthand understanding of the challenges business owners and their teams face every day. Those perspectives helped shape Meadow's approach: build for the complexity of an entire brand without losing sight of the people in each location. We know AI can feel intimidating. But the idea behind Meadow is deeply personal: we're building the AI teammate we wished our families had as they ran and grew their businesses into many cities and states. Our family and friends still work in the kitchen and on the front lines of their brands today. We're building Meadow to be the kind of coworker we'd want by their side.
